Can not download audio from Uzbekistan, China (without VPN)

I tried several times to download audio for this app but could not download any qari recitation. I asked this question several times during last 2 years but did not get any feedback. Hope to hear from you this time.

Android audio download fail

as-salam 'alaykum, I'm in China, using Xiaomi 8se, system is MIUI 12.0.2 stable. app version 1.29.1.
Every time I download the audio it fails, either from settings-audio manage, or playing to download on the sura page. my mobile used to be able to download, then can not download for unknown reasons.
Tried downloading different qari like afasy and rifai. tried downloading different chapters like fatihat and baqarat.
Tried with or without vpn, using Asia, Hong Kong, US, Japan nodes, and “chatgpt line”. The vpn is my usual vpn for youtube browsing and downloading apps from google market including al quran.
By the way, when i am using another quran app downloaded from Google store, I can download the audio. that app seems to use the default download method of the mobile, my Xiaomi phone defaults to “Xunlei download”. But that app was severely lacking in functionality, far inferior to al quran, and was only used for testing and has been deleted.
