Several hizb/juz-related suggestions
Assalamu alaikum, Jazakum Allahu khair for all your hard work. I've compiled a few suggestions regarding hizb/juz marking in the app, in'shaAllah everything makes sense. It would be nice to be able to read one full hizb at a time if you want, rather than have to go by quarters. That way it splits the juz into halves which is convenient for one who reads one hizb in the morning and another at night to complete the daily juz Sunnah. Because on his is made up of 4 quarters, a d the Hizb list lists all quarters in the musshaf, perhaps we can have a vertical-shaped button to the left spanning the length of each set of 4 hizb quarters that make up one hizb, and that button opens that hizb in one go. It's also really important generally to have more markers throughout the musshaf about where each hizb and juz are, within the text itself. If I'm reading through Surat Aal Imran and I want to know where hizb 7 begins, I can't tell which asterisk is denoting which quarter hizb unless I go back to the homepage and cross-reference with the hizb listings. I believe this can be solved by having a marker at the start of the ayah of the new quarter hizb, maybe even just a small "1/4 of H07" kind of symbol like the real musshaf. Having different coloured labels for juz, hizb, page, and ruku numbering one the page number bar would be great as well, to quickly anticipate what's on the coming page, or as per the previous suggestion above, all that information is found within the text rather than on the page number bar, so that it's more precise than just denoting what on the coming page. It would be amazing if, when you select a juz or hizb from the juz or hizb list, you are presented with only the ayat that make up the juz/hizb you want, rather than the entire set of pages that encompass the juz/hizb you want, which includes ayat before and after the juz/hizb you actually want to read. That way you can rely on the page as being the exact selection of ayat you're looking for, which is helpful for sharing purposes, memorization etc. Alternatively you can make it so the ayat in the juz/hizb you want are slightly highlighted (or conversely the ayat outside of the juz/hizb you want are slightly darkened) so as to delineate which ayat are part of the juz/hizb you actually want, from.the set of pages that are presented. Otherwise, as things are, one can mistakenly think there are extra ayat in that juz/hizb than there officially are, and secondly, you find the juz/hizb marker at the top incorrect because it marks from the juz/hizb that the ayah at the start of the page is part of, even if that ayah is from the juz/hizb previous to the one you selected (check across a few hizb to see what I mean here). Rather than having the hizb numbering start at Hizb 1, then go to 1/4 Hizb 1 all the way to Hizb 2, then 1/4 Hizb 2, the quarterly division marker might be slightly clearer for readers if the first marker is "Start Hizb 1" followed by "1/4 Hizb 1" all the way to "End Hizb 1 - Start Hizb 2" and so on. Jazakum Allahu khair.
